In the remote, poverty-stricken villages of Armenia, amid the echoes of past conflicts, children often face harsh realities that harden their hearts. This was certainly true for Sasha, a young boy from the small town of Maralik. When his sister first joined a Tomorrow Club, Sasha mocked her and even threw stones at her to underscore his defiance, making it clear he wanted nothing to do with anything related to God.
Eventually, curiosity and his sister’s quiet persistence chipped away at his resistance, and Sasha stepped through the doors of the Tomorrow Club.
At the club, he discovered a community built on Christ-centered discipleship. The leaders there saw past his tough facade, investing in him with the unwavering hope that God could do something truly extraordinary. And He did. As Sasha began to experience God’s love, his life underwent a remarkable transformation. He embraced faith and, for the first time, began to take responsibility for his actions.
At first, Sasha’s parents were skeptical of his new path. But as they witnessed the profound changes in their son his newfound kindness, his sense of accountability, his willingness to serve their hearts gradually softened. They began to support his involvement in the club, recognizing the positive impact it had on his life.

One pivotal moment highlighted Sasha’s transformation. While daring friends to throw rocks over a fence, Sasha accidentally shattered a car’s windshield. But instead of running away, as he would have done in the past, he took full responsibility. He worked diligently to pay for the damage, a powerful testament to the genuine change God had begun in him.
Today, Sasha is a devoted member of his Tomorrow Club. He’s always the first to volunteer, no matter how small the task. His story is a living testament to the power of Christ-centered discipleship and the hope it brings to even hearts of stone.
