Jesse has been serving with HOPE International since 2004. Over the years, he has contributed to HOPE’s finance, administration, and operations teams, including more than a decade as chief operating officer before stepping into the role of president in 2026. He holds a B.A. from Eastern Nazarene College and both an M.A. and an MBA from Boston University. Microfinance sits at the intersection of these fields, bringing together Jesse’s passion for serving communities in developing countries with his background in business and finance. Before and during his graduate studies, Jesse gained experience in international banking at State Street Corporation’s international headquarters in Massachusetts and later with a subsidiary of Advent Software. Throughout his time with HOPE, Jesse has traveled extensively across Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America, supporting the growth of Christ-centered economic development. He has also served his local church as a board member and treasurer and remains deeply committed to HOPE’s Christian mission. Jesse and his wife, Krista, live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with their two children.
